Ashley Giles says he has learnt plenty from his first tour as England one-day and Twenty20 coach.

The new man in charge oversaw England's 3-2 defeat in India, where the tourists won the first and last game of the series.

Although disappointed, he was optimistic as England prepared to leave for New Zealand.
