ECB's Dave Leighton, who manages club development for the Board and has masterminded the evolution of NatWest CricketForce into the major sporting volunteer event in the UK, gave a motivational update on plans for the 2007 event to the packed audience at the NatWest Oscas 2006 ceremony at Lord's.

He also introduced the 2006 NatWest CricketForce video, which was shown in full on the day - which you can also view here for free in the ECBtv Active Zone

He then came back to make a special surprise presentation. Shiregreen CC in Sheffield played a prominent part in the NatWest CricketForce 2006 weekend, and fundraiser John Baverstock has being doing his best to raise money to purchase an electronic scoreboard for the club. ECB went one better, with help from Blair Robertson of Daktronics - an Official Supporter of NatWest CricketForce - as they unveiled one on stage, and presented it to a shocked Baverstock!
