ECB joined forces with Philip Davies MP to put on a special day for schoolchildren in Saltaire - part of an initiative to spread cricket to kids in the area; with England's Matthew Hoggard and Laura Spragg joining the ECB Cricket Factory at the fun event.

Ed Duguid from Saltaire CC explained how the ongoing work with the Beckfoot Schools Sports Partnership, his club and surrounding primary schools is bringing more and more kids into the sport. And Philip Davies, who enabled the ECB to get the Cricket Factory along to Saltaire First Primary School, explained what the long-term benefits of the initiative would be, and how the development model can work elsewhere.
