2nd npower Test: Day Two Report
In a rollercoaster day, Ross Taylor was the hero as he (with the help of Kyle Mills) saw New Zealand to a healthy total of 381 all out.
England had little answer to his strokeplay as he brought up his second Test hundred (154).
In England's reply, Strauss struck another half-century, but when he fell (after he and Vaughan had recovered from the early loss of Cook), New Zealand sensed blood and Vettori nipped out Vaughan and nightwatchman Sidebottom.
England finished the day 152-4, with the prospect of a tense innings ahead of them.
